kind of a rant but like i've been kind of kicking my own ass over this
ive been getting little done with both the site and my projects these couple days
hell titular tunes, welcome to garnville and OOC2 don't have their pages up still

why in the goddamn hell does .PNG and .png act as two different filetypes???
it shows just FINE in Adobe Dreamweaver but when I go upload it to my Neocities it shits the bed
granted this is the most non-issue ever but i mald regardless
on a less useless use of this updates page uhh
OOC2 is coming along nicely
still haven't implemented the Ball Game yet but I think i'll do extras stuff when we get there

maybe i'll add a feedback page only for all -2 of my adoring fans to suggest random things for Compaq to turn into...

so that's Aphrodite, one of the characters you'll be seeing a lot in Hemorust
she's a shopkeep who's obsessed with capitalism to the point where she sells you paper
with weapons drawn on them to make money
(also she's a sea slug, but technically she IS a sea bunny, so you're half on the ball)
maybe these concepts for her will explain a little more:
the other character in the first one is named Apollo and he's somewhat important to Hemorust
but isn't really relevant much otherwise
all you need to know is he likes to draw and he takes the award for
the most Lesbian Character i've ever made
(as in vibes, he's actually the gayest heterosexual known to man,
the Lesbian Compaq Character is Synapse fuck you)
unfortunately for you true yuri enjoyers you will have to wait for i have no yuri on hand right now

ive been sick for like half a week and ive wanted to update it for a while
but kind of didn't so maybe i'm just dumb and stupid sorry
i fixed it - (Feburary 10th, 2026)
turns out PNGs are case sensitive on neocities for some reason
so i thought i'd have to go on this epic adventure to fix the goddamn credits button
no
i just had to change ONE letter in the graphic for the credits button
i have gyatt to kill myself
on a more positive note i guess that means i have time to make more of the uhh idunno

Neocities Implementation Test Successful - (Feburary 10th, 2026)
so basically as of Feburary 10th, 2026 i just NOW got to giving my fellow Compact Discers(TM) a preview
of the new and improved site (only the home page)
so funny story when i was updating it
so basically i accidently put the images in the pre-existing images folder on it and it broke everything
i spent ALL NIGHT trying to troubleshoot it until i found out "oh it's in the images folder within the images folder"
and so after that headache its 2am i have to wake up and shit
how's it going? it's going! the site works... except for ONE thing...
the "credits" button of all things seems to not be working on my end
...huh
again im fuckin tired so maybe i'll get it fixed tommorow but yeah
Boring Test Stuff - (Feburary 9th, 2026)
hey all compact here and basically as of this message being made uhh
i only just NOW got to remaking the goddamn updates page
so what's updated(TM) now anyway
quite a lot, actually
for one, thanks to a template i found by templaterr
(shoutouts to them for the sidebar script i stole used for my site) i've made this place
actually look good unlike the previous iterations of the site like take a look at this shit
pretty shit looking right
also yes those are the only surviving screenshots i could get of the old site
i forgot to back up the files and now they're
gone
forever
and its never coming back
anyway on an unrelated note i am very proud of the themes here
my only self-critque here is some parts of the website feel "lifeless" and this is
far from the aesthetic i want to go for
if i ever do another "theme refresh" i'm gonna try and go for a frutiger aero style
kind of like these websites
but that's a lot of work so for now we're gonna stay simple even if fruitiger aero is unironically
one of my favorite aesthetics so
also a bug ran past my screen while im typing this and thats not good
as of typing this only a couple pages exist so that's a lot of work i gotta do lmao
as of typing this this site will probably relaunch in march and if it doesn't uhh

Super Sexy Site Rework - (Janurary 1st, 2026)

so as of the end of janurary i am currently starting development on the actual site itself
idunno why im saying any of this nobody's gonna see these till like 2060 so
go awoog (but i'd prefer you don't) (i'm already pushing it with this bit)
anyway so my plan with this rework is simply put: the site sucked
so i'm gonna make it suck less with all new art AND using a program that actively
makes website building easier instead of taking a shot in the dark with neocities' default editor
i'm also learning how to get better at html (and i know i AM using a template but come on
let me have the ONE shortcut okay it's not like i'm being shamed by ChatGPT for trying to code
